Looking for a ride around French Polynesian

I’m in Moorea right now, boatsitting with a friend. I really would love to see other islands and even more, I’m graving to sail around and spend time in the water.

Hey everyone,
I'm Mirjam, 32, from Germany. I left my job, my home, my love to follow my passion, my dream, my heart which leads me back to the ocean and into the world.

SAILING/ LIVING ABOARD EXPERIENCE:
This year I crossed the Atlantic twice. From Spain via Cape Verde towards Martinique and Dominica, where I spent the 3 months COVID Lockdown on a 42ft Vessel and then sailed back via Azores to Menorca. In all that time I did shifts as well as the provisioning, cleaning and cooking part and learned a lot about sailing and living aboard.
Before this big trip I did quite a lot of Charter Sailing with my family, since my Stepdad and Brother are Skippers and my Mum a professional housekeeper and in charge of everything inside the boat. In this time I learned from my mum everything about provisioning, organization, cooking - and basically did all what a Stewardess does plus helped on deck. My first sailing trip like this was when I was 14.
I worked a lot in the tourism area all over the world. This includes jobs as a manager, designer/artist, interior designer, yoga teacher, nanny, tour guide etc. I did a lot of housekeeping, cooking and waitressing in Bars, Restaurants and Retreats. I had my own Cafe where I was in charge of absolutely everything. This taught me a lot how to act with guests, how to manage time, costs, bookkeeping and improved my organization skills.
My special skill is to work with what’s there and to keep an overview. That means I can cook with what has to be eaten first or what's left, I see if something has to be done and have a good feeling for what guests need.

--> Though I have already 9.000 nm sailing experience, I have NO license yet, but planning to do my RYA Day-Skipper soon.
--> The STCW 10 BASIC SAFETY TRAINING & ENG1 I will do as soon as the COVID situation let me travel again.

ABOUT ME:
I'm a Writer, Yoga-teacher, Interior Designer, Manager and Art-therapist. But over all I'm a traveler by heart.
I traveled a lot in my life, lived in different places and know how to behave - on small boats as well as in foreign countries. Life for me is all about living life to the fullest and to be a person with a good and honest heart. I don’t fit in standards and see myself out there in the world, working in beautiful places with beautiful people.
Words that would describe me: calm, quiet, laughing a lot, social, deep talks, easygoing, does everything for harmony, caring, if there is a problem- just talk about it, addicted to nature, into sports (hiking, swimming, surfing, dancing...), meditation and yoga, spirituality, creative, funny, also serious sometimes, passionate writer, into photography and art. I’m a 100% trustful person, who works a lot, gives her best, is open and eager to learn.

MY PLAN:
My only plan is to be back on sea, work in this environment to afford my licenses and finish writing my very first book. I would be up for another Atlantic crossing again:)
It’s definitely not the destination, but the people on board that matter to me. There is nothing better than a good vibe on board and enjoying some lifetime together.
