Hello, I'm Alex looking for some mile-building opportunities!
Little bit about me, I'm currently 19, living in Italy and am an unhappy college student who would rather be sailing. In May 2022 I'll be leaving Europe for the US Coast Guard, but until then I've got time on my hands I hope to spend on the sea. I have up-to-date, first mate, deckhand, and competent crew experience with multiple International Yacht Training (IYT) certifications. Also have a valid STCW, ENG1, and am working on obtaining my Day Skipper/Offshore Yachtmaster license. I've sailed through Biscay, Gibraltar, Kiel Canal, I can cook edible food, I can clean a boat, keep solo night watch, and respect my fellow crew. Money is tight at the moment so I cannot really contribute any money, (of course, I can cover my travel costs). However, I can tell stories and play a guitar tune or two. Want to practice and experience the sailing world to the fullest. Looking forward to talking to you!
