Looking for deck / Engineering dual role
Hi All,
I would like to start a career as a starter level engineer in the industry and put in all my effort into learning everything I can and gaining the knowledge and experience to progress further down the line. I understand it won’t be a smooth or an easy transition and I’m prepared to put in the hard work and time in order to reach my goals.
I've gained my basic ticket in engineering AEC 1 and will be looking to progress to AEC 2 and other relevant tickets required. Will be doing the RYA power boat Level 2 and looking at any relevant qualifications required in the future.
I would like to gain sea time and as much experience as I can in order to progress my tickets and work towards gaining longevity in my new career path.
Myself, I'm a chilled relaxed person, professional always when working and when representing a company in events. I'm helpful and not afraid to get stuck in and learning new skills and tricks, you never know know when you'll need them.
I've travelled a lot recently did three months in South America ( June- September 2019 ) and have previously travelled around South East Asia and American and a lot of Europe. I enjoy been outdoors and seeing new places and new cultures and meeting people.
Sporty to a point when I get the chance, love playing football and watching it. Running, gym and rock climbing.
Like reading and photography and worked in a media company doing tv adverts and corporate filming so fairly decent at filming and editing. I like learning new languages I'm attempting Italian and have some basic Spanish.
I come from a banking background, however working with my hands is something I've done alot. My father is classic car enthusiast so I've done a fair share of work with him in my spare time. I'm keen to take this to next level in the marine engineering industry.
I’m no stranger at starting from the bottom and working my way up, money isn’t my motivation here with due time and progression I’m sure that would take care of it’s self.
I want to travel, learn and meet and make new friends. I like working and building relationships with people I work with it makes for a better atmosphere. I'm always happy to help out where I can. I'm not afraid to ask for help if you're doing something work wise then make sure you doing it right, it only leads to further complications down the line if your unsure.
If you have any questions please free to contact me, I'm honest, socialable, hard working and most of all keen to progress and a quick learner. So hopefully you'll consider the above and take a chance on a greenie looking to break into the industry and is willing to work his way up and is loyal and committed once engaged.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Please see my CV for more information.
Kind regards
Dharmesh
