Looking for a sailing/navigation experience! And friendship :)

I am traveling the world, packpacing, for already one year and half. In the next month I will do Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos,Thailand and the heading south till East Timor. After that I wish to go to Australia ... and later back to USA, so crossing the pacifique.
I have been in boats many times as diver (instructor too) and even have the boat licence (hauturier) but I have no real experience on sea. Nevertheless, I am really motivated to learn, help on a board and navigate :)
I hope I will find some interesting travels :) I am open to trips around south east Asia, Australia and trough islands in pacific. :)
