Looking for an adventure with like-minded people
Hi, I have been sailing for about 8 years now, skippering and crewing, and am looking at taking a good amount of time away from my typical lifestyle for a bigger adventure. I'm hoping to find some like-minded or otherwise good people to sail with.
I am a 37-year-old software engineer, with interests in playing music (drums, guitar), hiking, biking, movies, art, and engineering. I'm a pretty social nerd, with a good sense of humor. I get along best with people who are good-natured, who can joke around a bit, and have a little bit of a sense of adventure.
I am a competent skipper, and have been most recently sailing out of Boston on Albin 28's with friends. I've also done a fair amount of crewing in the Boston area, some in races, and some on weeklong trips in/around the Caribbean. I am very diligent and respectful, and can help out wherever needed, with sailing or just with washing dishes, etc.
