Looking for a next adventure from St Croix!
Hi fellow sailors!
I'm Lisa, a 35yr old American/Australian currently in St Croix USVI seeking my next adventure. I'm a global nomad veterinary nurse who has been traveling full time for 7 yrs. Last year I discovered sailing by jumping in the literal deep end crewing on a 2 month journey across the Indian ocean. Since then I've taken every chance to sail, most recently from Grenada to USVI.
Things I can offer: easy-going, positive personality and I'm definitely no princess! Well versed in boat life, eager and hardworking crew member. I enjoy cooking, provisioning, willing to help with boat repairs, maintenance, etc. Basic knowledge of sailing, some experience at the helm, trimming sails, driving a dinghy, etc.
Stuff I'm into: Learning to sail! Hiking, snorkeling, exploring and getting to know interesting people and places. The more remote and local, the better! Also love playing games of any kind (Will bring my own Cards Against Humanity set!)
What I'm NOT looking for: ...."Romance".. Seriously. Stop wasting my time, fellas. If that's what you're after or even optimistic for it, just keep scrolling. Also not looking for a party boat or hard drugs. Don't get me wrong though, I can drink and have a good time ;)
If this sounds like I would be a good fit for your crew needs, please hit me up with any and all questions you have! In USVI right now, but willing to travel within reason for the right situation. I have no end destination nor specific time frame. It's all about finding the right boat and enjoying the journey.
