Looking for a way home!
Heya, Justus here. I've been sailing since I was 7, and I haven't stopped since. Along with recreational sailing, I've worked as sailing teacher every summer for about 5 years. The last few years I've picked up a liking for yacht sailing, and set myself the bucket list dream of crossing the Atlantic. Funnily enough, this dream took only half a year to manifest and now I've found myself on the other side of the world, with a strong will to sail back home to my family, friends and loved ones. For one this comes from my values, by principle I refuse to fly back.
Beyond my will to travel sustainably, I share deep love for sailing and adventure, but also for reading, writing, singing, kite surfing, cycling. I studied politics, philosophy and the sustainable sciences in the Netherlands. Although by passport I am German, I've lived abroad all my life. I would say that I am generally described as a jolly guy who can't keep the smile off his face and always judges the glass to be half full.
