Greetings Ship Mates!!!
I’m Fungai, people around call me Mushroom :) I’m 30, grew up in the Capital City of Zimbabwe and have lived there most of my life before moving to Cape Town, SA in 2010 where I began my boating career.
Here I am interested in finding a long/short term liveaboard Deck/Cook crew position on Super-yacht or Sailing-yacht with my experience of having worked on boating Company such as Cape-Town-Yacht-Service https://g.co/kgs/uGM8ZD where I’ve fully assisted successfully the organization reaching hit most of its targets on maintenance projects on RaceBoats, SuperYachts, Catamaran. My Experience and knowledge fits well on a busy casual/professional environment ;-)
I’m willing to volunteer and take every task as an opportunity and engage my full time availability and dedication on any opportunity including ones which I’m amateur to such as Buffing, Grinding, Engineering etc.. Reaching a stage of independently managing boat care-taking is my goal while obtaining a full time position is my golden goal since I believe to have all the time in the world for it :)
On a personal level, I describe my personality as an openness and oneness, i own a mountain bike and I cycle quiet a lot and do occasional hiking ,the currently pandemic has made me adapted reading habits which I now have and enjoy.
I am open for suggestions to any other open opportunities or dock-day work to elsewhere around the globe whether tropical/subtropical.
