Captain / Sailing Instructor
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Captain or Sailing Instructor.
During these four seasons, I served as a Sailing Instructor across the Saronic Gulf and Aegean Sea, leading instructional sessions and navigating an average of 100 nautical miles per week. This role included 4 weeks dedicated to mile building, during which I covered more than 300 nautical miles each week, honing the advanced sailing skills of my students in varied and challenging conditions. In addition to teaching, I was responsible for the regular maintenance of the boats, ensuring they remained in optimal condition for safe and efficient operation. My administrative responsibilities encompassed scheduling courses, managing bookings, and coordinating with clients to customize their learning experiences. I also handled the procurement of supplies and equipment necessary for the voyages and educational sessions. Throughout the season, I conducted safety briefings and drills to reinforce best practices and emergency response protocols, ensuring a secure learning environment for all participants.
