Looking for a Novice Crew or Competent Crew position
Hi there!
I'm Emile and have sailed leisurely on/off growing up. I don't consider myself an experienced sailor despite some past experience but I'm sure I'll quickly learn and pick it (back) up. The whole thing at sea kind of grabbed me and so I ended up working on cruise ships for about 6 years, albeit on the hotel side of things. I'll have to rummage through the books to memorize the theoretical parts, but I do hold a (small) pleasure craft 1+2 license which I mostly used to cruise through the canals of Amsterdam.
I currently reside in Portugal where I moved to for a seasonal job as a booking manager at Dreamsea surf camps. Furthermore, I've also used my time here to become a fully licensed ASI Surf Instructor (level-1). The season is ending however, and I'm looking for new opportunities sailing at sea.
Hobbies include golfing, surfing and scuba diving amongst other things.
