Motivated, Friendly, Fast Learner, Empathetic man looking for a crew position
Hi,
I'm Olly, 25 years old from France, and after getting my engineering degree, I am now travelling the world. My main sailing experiences are :
- Sailing from New Zealand to South Africa, employed as a Deckhand on a delivery job of a 50ft sailing catamaran ;
- Employed as Deckhand/Au pair on a return trip from NZ to Fiji ;
- Recreational day cruises on catamaran and motor yachts.
And now, I would like to really learn how to sail, as well as discover the lifestyle aboard a boat, which has always been appealing to me, even more as I am a sea and nature lover. I am currently staying in South Africa, ready to board or fly to a boarding location.
Whatever the mission I am assigned on the boat, rest assured that I will do my best to fulfill it, as I am a fast learner and really motivated. The main things I can bring to your boat are my energy, happy mood (though I'm not a big extrovert), and my big desire to help and be useful ! I am open-minded, non-judgemental, with a great envy to meet people from all around the world. As for hobbies, I like to move and discover new places and people, swim, play the guitar, enjoy nice moments with friends, have interesting conversations about any and everything (but I also know when to leave people alone), and smile !
I will do my best to integrate your crew, be an asset for you and make the journey as nice as possible.
