Happy to accept almost any position, not just one of the 4 that were options for me to choose.

I have just joined Crew Bay and I am looking to find a vessel who is looking for someone with a fair amount of experience but who is also very keen and eager to learn more. As far as just being out on the water, in all sorts of conditions, on a number of different vessels, I have heaps of experience. Though I expect that most of my experience on the ocean is in a more commercial type environment, I will run you through the timeline of where I have accumulated my decade plus of experienced being employed on the water and I very much hope to find myself in a situation where I can use the experience that I do have and combine it with what I hope to learn about the process and skills needed in order to take part as a member of crew on a vessel with plans to be cruising some of the absolutely gorgeous coastal routes we have as options.
I will start with my passion for scuba diving and my relevant training in that area which would be likely to come in handy were I crew on a pleasure vessel. In 2008 I completed my P.A.D.I. Divemaster Certification, allowing me to take small groups of certified Open Water or divers with even higher levels of certification out on guided tours of the local dive sites. Since then though I have gone on to make diving my career. Going to commercial diving school to certify myself in Occupational Unrestricted Scuba/Nitrox diving as well as DCBC's Surface Supply Diving.
Beyond my work as a commercial diver, which has landed me many different marine jobs, I have all of my Basic marine courses renewed recently too. From my STCW/MED3 (Marine Emergency Duties) Marine First Aid, Radio Operators Certificate Marine, and my Small Vessel Operators Proficiency ticket.
That is where I am at with trying to accumulate as many certificates and tickets as I can while I have the time this summer. Most of my relevant experience I am sure \comes from the months long fishing trips that I have done and the situations you tend to end up in I don't believe are things that you can teach.
I would absolutely love the opportunity go het out and away on a trip or more possibly this summer but later in the year say, December or even later would also fit my schedule perfectly. II hope this profile does help me to draw a bit of attention/

Joshua
