Looking to gain more experience and miles towards my skippers license.
Ahoy, I’m Daniel (34), I’m interested in finding a paid first mate opportunity (travel to vessel paid) or a sailing vessel opportunity (sharing provisions) to gain more experience towards my skippers license. I’ve sailed through the Caribbean, South America, east coast/eastern shore, around Madeira, Portugal and have done numerous long deliveries/overnights. My fastest record to date is 745nm in 4days 11hrs and I have over 5000nm under my belt. I am currently studying to take the exam for 100 ton Captains license. I’m easy going, extremely clean (I prefer a very clean & organized boat), fluent in Spanish, and understand Portuguese. I know how to cook well and don't ever get sea sick or motion sickness and I enjoy night watch. I am an entrepreneur and nutritionist by trade. I'm currently working/building an apparel brand called Seawolf® dedicated to providing high-quality sustainable clothing made for a lifestyle on or around the Sea, meanwhile running a remote nutrition business.
