LOOKING FOR BLUEWATER EXPERIENCE
Hi there. My name is Saoirse, I am a 41 YO Canadian/EU looking to gain sailing experience to eventually be able to safely and confidently sail my own boat around the globe.
I have some experience sailing my own sailboats (22' & 25'), but this has been limited to inside and coastal sailing. I have not experienced sea sickness so far, feel pretty confident around boats and feel like I have a good sense on how they handle.
I have had the blessing to have been able to travel quite a bit and am fluent in Spanish and English with fairly advanced French. I am a carpenter by trade, so handy in that sense. Can troubleshoot some mechanics and electrical.
Ideally looking to join a youngish crew (30's-40's) that have sailing experience they would like to share/teach. I surf and am always ready for side adventures.
Currently leading a pretty flexible lifestyle so available on short notice for the right journey and willing to travel almost anywhere.
