Experienced boatie looking for experiences in or around New Zealand and/or South Pacific
I am a ex chartered accountant (59) who is finally breaking away from the desk job. I have always had a passion for the ocean and spend most of my spare time in, around or on the water. Having gained my local commercial maritime ticket (SRL) in 2022 have completed a number of offshore passages and involved in local charters around New Zealand.
I love boating in New Zealand summers but not such a fan of the winters. For that last couple of years I have been joining other boats as crew to meet other people, travel, experience other cultures and escape the cold.
I am flexible on time, place and arrangements . I am easy going, go with the flow and fit in well under most circumstances.
