Looking for a Deckhand and Captain/Engineer position
Dear Captain / Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in a position aboard a yacht or sailing vessel. I have extensive experience working on yachts worldwide and am currently available for immediate employment.
I hold a Yachtmaster Offshore certificate and am an AEC2-qualified engineer with over 10 years of experience in both yacht and shore-based engineering roles. My most recent position was as a Senior Engineer ashore, following several years working on 50–70 meter yachts in various regions around the world.
In addition to engineering, I bring a strong technical and operational background, including:
Crestron AV/IT Specialist
PBL2
PADI Divemaster
Certified Personal Trainer
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education Sciences
I am currently in possession of a valid STCW, ENG1, and B1/B2 visa, and I am fully mobile. I am happy to cover my own transportation to the vessel if required.
I am reliable, adaptable, and accustomed to the demands of life at sea, both on motor yachts and in shore-based technical environments. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my skills to a professional and well-run vessel.
