Available for short notice, Channel crossings, longer passages. Love sailing offshore. Plymouth UK based, will travel..

I'm interested in recreational sail and Delivery Crew position.

I like a boat on a mission. Always determined to become a better sailor. I'm reliable, calm in all weathers, healthy and strong. I am never happier than when sailing. (RYA DS & VHFsrc + many nm's actual sailing)

I'm a happy self contained camper, with night hours and lone watch experience.
I am a 3* Kayaker, Dinghy owner/sailor and year round Sea Swimmer.

Capable sea cook. I like victualing good quality ingredients. I'm motivated to source local & sustainable. My best comfort food is veggie/pesce (I have Food Hygiene level 2 certificate)

I was brought up by the beautiful protected waters of the River Clyde, Scotland but as a family we had no resources or inclination for sailing yachts. My hobbies were musical and creative in those early years.

I spent my adult life in landlocked Oxfordshire immersed in a world of music, proffessional and amateur. In recent years I moved to Plymouth UK with my husband's job and found that my creative passion was not well catered for. If you can't beat them, join them... and so I learnt to sail, now I'm addicted!

I've enjoyed lots of hands on day sails, short trips and several longer passages (logging 7000+ nm) on a variety of yachts. My favourite yacht is always the one I'm sailing at any moment. I've sailed Firefly Dingy to Topsail Schooner, Classic Racing yacht, Blue Water, Bildge Keel, Lifting Keel, Heavenly Twin, Catamaran, Gaff Rigg....

I also enjoy messing about on boats, helping winterise, taking to survey's, moorings, lift out etc. I am small and light and can climb a mast.

I've sailed the English Channel through to Kiel Canal and down to La Rochelle. I've participated in Semaine du Golfe du Morbihan. Passaged the Irish Sea several times, Bay of Biscay, Straits of Gibralter, Ionian Sea, Canaries to Cabo Verde, Atlantic Ocean to Grenada, West Coast of Scotland and Fife Regatta.

I've sailed offshore passage double handed and loved it and cruised with a family and loved that too.

I have completed a coastal skipper theory online during covid and really should do more. I have more sailing experience than qualifications. Every Boat and Skipper is different. I pefer to listen and learn. I won't tell you how to sail your yacht! I just want to be good crew and enjoy the passage.
