Experienced Skipper/Crew Looking for a job on a sailboat
My name is Luan, and I am currently based in Rio Dulce, Guatemala, living aboard my own sailboat but I can move to anywhere since I am available to start immediately, and my salary expectations are negotiable depending on the position, itinerary, and responsibilities involved.
I have extensive sailing experience with more than 30,000 nautical miles logged, including six Atlantic crossings, two of them as captain. Throughout my career, I have gained solid experience in offshore passages, navigation, boat management, maintenance, watchkeeping, and leading crew during long-distance voyages.
I would describe my crew management style as calm, professional, and team-oriented. I work well under pressure, maintain clear communication onboard, and focus on creating a safe, efficient, and positive environment for both crew and guests.
