Deliveries and shakedown cruises are what I love to do. I also enjoy re-commissioning and preparing sailing yachts for sailing after being on the hard for some time. My curiosity keeps me busy with boat systems. I am pretty handy and can do regular maintenance on engines and generators. I am experienced in weather routing and storm charting. I enjoy nerding out on the weather models and getting dirty in the engine room. Bonus: I am quite petite which gives me access to most spaces in the boat.
I have experience as crew/1st mate on offshore and coastal passages with 40'-55' sailboats and skippering day sails on smaller (23' -30'). I have ran offshore for days and up the ICW too. In addition to running weather, routing and navigation for each passage, I pre-check all engine fluids, check bilges and systems, and single hand while on day/night watches. I don't get seasick, love the early morning watch and travels. I can speak Spanish and Swedish at a conversational level. At home, on the water, I sail and maintain my own sailboat, take basic online courses for electrical, outboard maintenance, etc.

Best sailing couple I have sailed with.
