Looking for a Novice Crew or Friendship position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position of friendship as I have no sea training; outside of loving the sea; as a teenager; kayaking and sailing.
With covid, I have been trapped in the uk for a year and I have found myself unable to work and watching hours and hours of voyages on YouTube. I have been impressed so much by the freedom that is offers via the sea, I would love the chance to join a crew.
What can I bring?
Well, one I cannot bring is any experience. I have none, but I am a fast learner and I use to be a girl guide so I’m sure I will relearn my knots quite fast. I am a night owl so once you teach me how to watch, I’m happy to be the one who stays awake from 11 to 4am part watch!
I am a creative so if you want someone to record you at your best angle. I am that person.
I am lot of things. I can be loud, but I can also be quiet. I can offer advice but I can also just listen. I can work fast, i but I can also just chill. I’m flexible and adaptable to situations. But I like to work in nature with the moon; which to me means, I like to just be in syne. I am a photography tour guide in non covid times but I am now looking for new experiences.
I would like to be around a team of people who have spent time learning 20 minutes of random things a day and now have some amazing Philosophy to share with the world. I like to listen and ask questions. I don’t know a lot but I do believe word of mouth is fantastic and I enjoy listening to all types of stories about all types of subjects.
I kind of have the freedom to do anything once covid allows, I would really love it if someone was salling from the uk to somewhere warm.
