Looking for a Steward(ess) position
Hello there,
Hope you are well,
My name is Megan Tilburn and I am applying for the stewardess position
I obtained my stewardess training with Green to Gold from the 13th til the 17th of September 2021.
Since then I have been incorporating various practical applications that are required of me as a junior stewardess into my daily life here in South Africa while waiting for employment.
I have been practising the following skills:
Ironing and folding a full set of sheets - when I first started this took me 57 minutes to complete the task and now I am down to 35 minutes. Performing all laundry duties at home - Separating all the laundry into colour piles whilst getting into the habit of checking for stains, checking pockets and care labels. Perfecting the speed and efficiency of my bed making skills. My hospital corners have come a long way since September! Practising my wine pouring skills with my friends and family and well as cocktail skills and garnishes.
As you can see I have gone above and beyond the 5-day stewardess training. Our head lecturer has given us these practical skills to implement into our daily lives to make the initial induction training onboard your yacht smoother and I am confident that I am well prepared to take on my role as a junior stewardess.
