I’m a former business owner, divorced, with a grownup Son and Daughter who are independent and very much on their own journey
My experience to date is detailed below and I’m open to all opportunities, at short notice or long term future projects :-

1st Mate / Watch Keeper / Boson / Sails and Rigging inspections / renewals / Lamer electric /manual winch Service Technician, Marine Electrical Engineer / Yanmar Service Technician/ Lead Crew / Tender Pilot
I have first hand experience of project management for major or minor work motor / sail yacht refits, engineering services, Yanmar Diesel Engine Service third party contractors supervision on behalf of the clients
I'm OCD about “ship shape” and tidy, everything must be in its place!!
I have been on and around boats for over 30 years, from 7m RNLI RIBS, 15m to 24m sailing yachts, motor yachts & Catamarans, contracting electrical engineer on Cruise Ships and 20,000T Royal Fleet Auxiliary dive support ship.
I hope to share my skills and experience with other like minded Leisure or Professional Sailors

I have completed a number of deliveries as crew and first mate/ Electrical Engineer, the most recent ( Nov 2022 / Dec 23) being HH55 catamaran, re rigging and fitting new sails in Curaçao and preparing for cruising and Atlantic crossing West to East , Also ( July 2022) Oyster 495, maiden voyage ( see video) from
Southampton ( Oyster Yachts, Hythe) to the Mediterranean, crossing the Bay of Biscay.
During May 2022, I was employed as 1st Mate / Electrical Engineer on 24 meter 145 tonne motor yacht, delivery crew Southampton/ Guernsey/ Amsterdam, Watch Keeper through English Channel and North Sea TSS

> Over night Passage planning - North Sea / English Channel - extensive cross channel experience including Bay of Biscay
> Weather forecasting and daily transit planning
> Mediterranean MedMooring - Deep water 100 meter++ Ancoring
> Power Boat Level 2 Yacht - lead pilot off shore- Coastal DAY skipper
> inventory management
> Provision planning for 10 person for 6 weeks sea passage without land
> Basic Paleo diet Chef / cooking food hygiene meal preparation
> Flexible throughout the year, and able to move around between countries as and when required.
> Good knowledge of engines, and on board systems and processes
> Competent overall seamanship & rigging inspections
> Ability to deal with a crisis in an efficient & effective manor,
