Looking for a Delivery Crew or Voluntary work position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Delivery Crew or Voluntary work. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I am 56 years of age. A former lawyer, recently retired. I have been sailing for 30 years, formerly owned a Moody 45 DS, which I sold last year. For the last 6 months I have fully refitted a Hardy 42 Commodore and am now enjoying cruising the SW coast of England, the Isles of Scilly, Channel Isles and hopefully in September the N French coast. I have not logged my miles, but suggest it’s north of 10,000. I was crew on an Oyster 45 on the 2012 ARC, which was a wonderful experience. I have raced in the Solent and the Caribbean. I am a team player, competent sailor and would very much like to crew for a skipper in search of someone who can help in most departments and is a sensible head in the inevitable challenges they face in such a crossing.
