Looking for a Mile building or Competent Crew position on an Atlantic crossing from Gran Canaria
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm looking for a sailing vessel which I could join on an Atlantic crossing starting from Gran Canaria. My flight to Gran Canaria is on the 14th of December. I'm available for departure any time after that. I'm in possession of a Day skipper licence, accompanied with 4 weeks experience as a Flotilla sailing skipper in Greece. I've also worked on the Amsterdam canal cruises as a skipper and guide for 2 years. Furthermore I have a bachelor diplom in mechanical engineering, which provides me with the basic technical skills needed on board. The crossing for me is a way to build miles for the RYA Yachtmaster Exam, as well as to engage in a great adventure and enjoy my freedom after graduating for my masters last September.
