Looking for a 3rd Engineer, 2nd Engineer or Delivery crew position
Hi there! ?- I am marine engineer with background on merchant vessel, tuna fishing vessel and barges vessels. I have my chief engineer ticket and my main goal is to keep learning, growing as a person and engineer and making part of the progress for a better solution and integrity for you, who requires a reliable person and motivated engineer for a better and positive result offering my time, skills and passion to you.
I did my professional practices on M/V Hornbay and Horncap. The vessel was refeer, container ship transporting banana and pineapple through Costa Rica, Port Moin and Santo Tomás, Guatemala to Port Manatee and Philadelphia, PA. During my practices as a engine cadet, I did maintenance to Main Engine ULJANIK MAN B&W 6L60MC as well as 3 motogenerator LITOSTROJ MAN B&W. Monitoring all the machinery equipment under supervised by 4th, 3rd, 2nd engineer during theirs watch keeping duties. Repairing and giving preventive maintenance such as , heat exchanger, diesel purifier, water pumps, boiler, sewage plant, checking level oil of all machinery and cranes. After finishing my time as a engine cadet, I received a promotion for 4th engineer for the same vessel. Then, I continued performing as 4th engineer for almost 2 years because of the pandemic couldn’t leave to rest. However, during my time on board, I was in charge of some systems such as, hydraulics system for cranes, ramps, boiler and recovery heat exchanger system, oil water separator, and seawage system, also, I was a part of the bunkering plan ,moreover, I had to monitoring all the parameters such temperature,pressure, and detecting any failure. Also, I used to assist 2nd, 3rd engineer when was required because of the busy schedule or any help they needed. I had to apply MARPOL policies. Then, I finish my contract, and I went to work to AHTS Vessel in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico after that we took the vessel to a shipyard for a maintenance and overhauling. As well as reporting all the activities to chief engineer. I would like to mention that I spent for 4 month on a tuna vessel company in Mazatlan, Mexico performing as a 3rd mechanical assistant on port, doing maintenance, repairing main engine. Finally, I did a barge delivery from Canada to Mexico.
