About me
My name is Harald, I am 50 years old, self employed, interested in people and countries, teamplayer, good mechanical skills (a must when you own an old, english car...), 11 years practice as an paramedic.
Some things about my sailing history: I started some years ago with motor boating, in 2009 with sailing. First time as a crewmember, than as the Skipper for my friends and family on different types of boats (Bavaria 38 – 44, Jeanneau Sun Odyssee 44, Gib Sea 37, Elan 36 and in 2012 a Fountaine Pajot Athena 38 catamaran in Turkey . In 2013 we transfered a Privilege 495 (49 ft catamaran) from Dutch to Portugal. Further transfers in Spain with a Lagoon 500 catamaran in 2015, an Oyster 545 from La Coruna to La Rochell in 2017. Also in 2012 and 2014 I was sailing the Uniqa Offshore Challenge in Croatia (function: helmsman).
I own the Austrian FB3 skipper license (comparable to RYA offshore), the croation yachtmaster license, ISAF survival training, overall around 6000 nm on boats also by night and in heavy weather.
