Looking for a Friendship or Novice Crew position
Aloha! My name is Jenelyn and I am from Hawaii.
A lil over a year ago I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time in Panama when I met someone who was joining a boat (through crewbay) to sail for a month in the Caribbean. Though I didn't have any sailing experience at the time, I was invited to join the crew. I have fond memories of this epic adventure and my soul aches for more.
A lil more about me...when I quit my job in Hawaii in 2013, I thought it was going to be just a full year of backpacking then back into the corporate world. Almost 9 years later and I am still enjoying the nomadic life. I am currently in France, just finished the TMB circumnavigating the Mont Blanc from France to Italy to Switzerland then back to France. Prior to that I was sailing for 2.5 weeks in the Mediterranean coast of Spain to the Balearic Islands of Formentera and Mallorca. And before all these hiking and sailing I have just completed the Alta Via 2 in the Dolomites and GR20 in Corsica. I love nature and the outdoors.
My hopes are to share an unforgettable experience and make new friends, exchange travel stories, and learn a thing or two about sailing along the way.
Few things I love other than travel - scuba and free diving, hiking, kayaking, SUPing, camping, yoga, canyoning/canyoneering, snowboarding.
