Mediterranean 2023
2023 OCTOBER:
• I would like to find someone to sail with, around mid-October, from France to Genoa, Italy. Or anywhere around the west coast of Italy, but I just need to be in Genoa on October 27 =)
2023 JUNE/JULY:
• In Norway until June (June to mid-July would be best for me to meet anywhere)
• I'll be traveling around Europe July 15-30 (so can't sail then)
• August/September are also good options
2022:
• Back in Norway for August
• I'll be traveling around Europe in September
• Valencia/Barcelona end of September
My name is Lindsay and I am 39 years old. I am a teacher (from New York) and world traveler (HoleStories.com) I have taught Math, Computer Science, and English in the US, Spain, and now Norway.
I am an avid snowboarder and practically live in the mountains in the winter, but a grew up on an island, so the sea also has a special place in my heart. The salt air, the smell of the tides, the wind in my face, etc. remind me of home.
I don't have any official training for how to control a boat, but I love to learn and love to travel, so I'm ready and eager to do anything you tell me to do so that we can explore together!
I actually really love living in tight spaces - I have a "tiny house" in Seattle (about the size of a van), and I have lived in my car for months at a time (multiple times), driving all over North America. I also love meeting new people - I consider myself an "extroverted introvert" in the sense that I am very sociable and can shoot-the-shit with anyone in the world for hours on end, but I also really love my alone time and have no problem locking myself inside my tiny space for days just entertaining myself.

1,5 weeks of sailing with Lindsay
I spent 1,5 weeks of sailing with Lindsay. She is a cheerful, friendly and responsible person. She is quite easygoing and with similar people around we had great joy together; sailing/ drinking. She is quite funny and time actually flies by… She did not know much about sailing but she is a very very quick learner and nearing the end she was close to an experienced crew. I would definitely recommend sailing with her and also spending time together as well.
