Looking for a Delivery Crew, Competent Crew, 1st Mate or Captain position
As my current contract will finish end of April 2026 in Puerto Rico or Bahamas I'm ready to arrange boat delivery to Europe as a skipper or mate/professional crew.
My sailing experience:
2022 April - now
Lagoon 560. Liveaboard captain on private boat. Crew of 2 me including. All maintenance, repairs, navigation, provisioning duties. Very complex boat and plenty of repairs due to age/previous lack of maintenance. 3 haul outs. 3 hurricane seasons....
All Caribbean: From Trinidad Tobago, Los Roques, ABC, all islands up to Florida and later Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Panama, Cayman.

Lagoon 42. Captain on charters, all islands between Grenadines-Martinique-St. Martin
Max 8 guests. Some charters with cook/deckhand, some solo.

-Med Spain to Martinique via Canaries and Cabo Verde, delivery of Lagoon 420

2010–15 Sailing my own sailboat - steel Van de Stadt Norman 40 - liveaboard with family (in the coast of Spain, Portugal, Italy), singlehanded sailing and maintaining her for a couple of years
Sailing since I was 16 - got my first licence, purchased unfinished boat project and after months of work made her sail.
I have experience from various boats, tall ships, charters and expeditions on both mono and catamarans in various regions: Atlantic, Baltic Sea, North Sea, Red Sea, Mediterranean; Norway (also in winter), Svalbard, Tierra del Fuego with Cabo de Hornos. Vessels from 6 to 46m LOA.
I'm free to go anytime and anywhere, can maintain & fix boat electric, electronic and mechanical systems, engines, watermarkers, A/C and fridges, name it!
I'm PADI Assistant Instructor certificate and work experience, Emergency First Aid Instructor, Equipment Specialist.
EU Passport + US B1 / B2 visa
I'm an IT engineer (spec. in infrastructure) with 25 years experience in a multilingual environment, an offshore sailor with 35+ years experience, and a diver for 30 years, working for 2 years as instructor.
In 2015 as part of my gap year I sailed from Baltic Sea to the Med, some parts singlehanded, later cruising for 9 months with my 11yo (at this time) son in Portugal and Spain. In 2022 delivered FP Saba 50 cat from Caribbean to Europe and Lagoon 420 from the Med to Caribbean. Worked 3 months as skipper on charters in the Caribbean and since May 2022 captain on Lagoon 560 sailing all around the Caribbean Sea.
I like longer trips like crossings/deliveries.
