Experienced offshore and ocean skipper and professional sailing instructor with over 30 years of sailing experience and more than 30,000 nautical miles logged, the majority as skipper. Extensive experience in offshore and ocean passages, including the Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, and Canary Islands. Highly skilled in yacht deliveries, long-distance passage-making, celestial navigation, weather routing, and yacht maintenance.
Currently seeking an Atlantic crossing this autumn as skipper, mate, or experienced crew. Calm, reliable, and safety-focused, with a proven ability to work effectively in demanding offshore conditions. Never seasick and comfortable in all weather and sea states, bringing both practical seamanship and a positive team spirit to every passage.
