Sailing down the English Channel.

12 days sailing. Lisa came from Mediterranean to Lowestoft for tidal experience. She successfully route-planned on the chart plotter and navigated Snow Goose from Lowestoft to Chichester through the Thames banks and Goodwin sand in fairly rough weather without error. She is quick on the uptake and was also invaluable for diving on a fouled prop and climbing the mast to free a jammed roller mechanism. I found her competent crew and she is very enjoyable company.

Quick learner!

Liz joined me on my 39ft sail boat from Cartagena, Spain to Capo del Orlando. Total of 1,000 miles with several night passages. Although not having much experience she have learned really fast. She is really competent with solo watches in night including asymmetric spinaker sailing, reefing and hosting of sail, etc. More than basic skills in the knowledge of sailing together with the terms. Performed really well in a MOB-drill we performed. Never repeats a mistake. On top of that intelligent, fun and interesting in socalizing and conversation.
