Couple looking for transatlantic crossing october/november
Hi, my name is Ignacy, and together with my fiancée Anna, we're seeking an opportunity to cross the Atlantic Ocean from Europe to the Caribbean, preferably Martinique. Anna has been accepted for studies there, so this journey serves both as an adventure and a relocation overseas. Here's a bit about us:
I'm 22 years old, hailing from a small town in southern Poland. I hold the Certificate of Inland Skipper from the Polish Yachting Association and have previously worked as a sailing instructor for children. Despite my lack of sea experience, I'm easy-going but can be serious when the situation demands it. My dream is to own my own boat one day. For the trip, I'd like to bring my mandolin so we can sing some sea shanties. I'm a proficient cook (or so Anna tells me), but I'm a vegetarian, and I do smoke cigarettes moderately. Currently, I'm living in France and can communicate in Polish, English, Russian, and have a basic understanding of French.
Anna, also 22 years old, hails from Belarus. She came to France three years ago to study art and has recently been accepted to the Campus Caribeen des Arts in Fort-De-France, Martinique. Her main field of study is nomadism, which is why we're keen on taking a boat rather than a straightforward flight. She hasn't sailed before but is eager to learn. Anna is an adventurous soul who has hitchhiked across most of Europe and Russia. She's a skilled cook (vegetarian as well) and a smoker. She's a native speaker of Russian and Belarusian, fluent in French and Polish, has decent English skills, and is currently learning Spanish.
For our journey, we can travel to various starting points in Europe, including the Canary Islands, and we aim to begin in mid-October or November. We're prepared to make a moderate financial contribution to the trip. Please feel free to contact us if you're interested!
