Looking for a boat to go up the east Australian coast
Gentlemen captains, hello everyone,
I am a 22-year-old Frenchman currently in Australia, in Sydney, and I am a great fan of the sea (practicing snorkeling, spearfishing…). My project, starting from March, is to sail up the Australian east coast. I am looking for a sailboat that would be willing to take me on board. Although I am a novice in sailing, I want to reassure you by mentioning that I already have some experience at sea.
I hold the French coastal and river boating license and have completed a crossing between Corsica and France. Every summer, I spend three weeks on a boat, and I am proficient in knots, lights, tacking, buoys, beacons, and so on.
The purpose of this journey is to truly explore the Australian coast, to travel at the pace of sailing, to learn sailing navigation, and, if possible, to share my passion for snorkeling by diving wherever the current takes us. In short, it's about living a real adventure.
I am eagerly looking forward to boarding and am open to any opportunities that may arise.
