I’’might retired so I am flexible on dates and have plenty of time on my hands! A quick pen picture would include: a life’s love of sailing starting at 8 in my first dinghy followed by 25 years of extensively racing and cruising them. Work and family inspired various things including a love of cooking and baking, photography (including some commercial work), and at work skills including senior problem solver, people person and planner/strategist not to mention some hilarious events that took place during my 12 years in the military! Now retired and owner of a 1985 Vancouver 32 (home port just outside Oban, W Scotland) which I’ve used for 2 years to start exploring the 700 or so marinas and anchorages in my cruising area sometimes solo, or with my wife or old chums. Qualified as RYA Yacht Master theory, Day Skipper/ICC, RYA diesel course and Short Range Radio Cert holder. Based in Scotland and happy to travel…. One big delivery to my name with Halcyon taking a classic MacGruer 40’ yawl from Greenock on the Clyde down to the Beaulieu River near Southampton. Very Swallows and Amazons.
