I am a safety conscious congenital professional holding a Yachtmaster Ocean licence (working towards 200/500gt) with ICC and Commercial endorsement, STCW, Seamans Book (allowing extended stay in EU) incl medical and 5 seasons chartering experience skippering a 40ft catamaran. With over 13000nm logged, and many more unlogged, with S. Atlantic, Indian, Aegean, Ionian, Adriatic, Med and English Channel, incl UK, as well as delivery from Baltic to Med via Biscay and trans Atlantic experience on a new build Sunreef 60 yacht. UK/SA passport holder and B1/B2 visa approved.
Experienced in managing large and small teams and project managing maintenance teams as well as all business finances and planning.
I am also a Rescue Diving instructor and watersports enthusiast incl fishing and free diving, commercially endorsed in running small and large dive boats with excellent experience on small and large highspeed tenders and general overall maintenance (incl extensive electrical & mechanical). Quick learner on boat systems (ECDIS). Presently based in Canary Islands after finishing a stint as a relief captain on a 33m MY and am now available.
