Kiteboard/ Surf Instructor/Diver, USCG 25 Ton Captain Available as a Deckhand, Crew, Friendship, or Voluntary Work
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay.
I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand, Crew, Friendship, Voluntary work, or kiteboarding, surfing, sailing instructor/ concierge. I have a USCG 25 ton Master Captains License from working on small fishing boats. Experienced as a deckhand/ captain/ first mate on day trips.
For Volunteer/ Crew I'm willing to contribute in cleaning, cooking, and daily yacht related tasks. My hobbies include surfing, kiteboarding, snorkeling/diving, chess, and guitar. If you're interested I could teach you to kiteboard or play chess at high level as I used to be a competitive player at the expert level.
My girlfriend also sails and teaches kiteboarding (She has her own school in Cocoa Beach, FL) and is available should a couple crew be requested.
Mostly looking for shorter trips at the moment as I have a remote job I must keep up with, but am open to permanent or seasonal jobs. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
