Looking for a Deckhand or Stew/Deck position
Hi there, I’m Ruby Collier!
Since travelling summers on my dads motorboat (55ft) around the South Coast of England I knew that life at sea was the one for me. I therefore decided to go to Rockley College to gain my watersport instructor qualifications and went to Flying Fish on the Isle of Wight to get my Deckhand and Safety Qualifications. My last few summers were spent working on smaller powerboats making sure they were well kept after and maintained while being driven around Poole Harbour. Last summer I also worked abroad in Kefalonia, Greece, working as a Sailing Instructor for both children and adults challenging myself in different environments and conditions to gain new life skills.
I am a hard working, outgoing character, personable and have a good sense of humour. I enjoy meeting new people, travelling and exploring new cultures.
I am looking for a deckhand position on a superyacht to utilise and develop further my skills and knowledge. I welcome the opportunity to chat further with you about any opportunities you may have available.
