I owned and skippered several sailing yachts including my last, a 76 ft Sailing Ketch, Lady Francesca. I have sailed and chartered the Mediterranean, North and South Atlantic and Bahamas and Caribbean for 45 years.
I’ve crossed the Atlantic over 20 times and am willing to teach a novice.
The crew I’m seeking will help me run the vessel, deckhand, light cooking and cleaning, but mostly will contribute to us all having a great time cruising in a friendly and casual atmosphere.

Boat descriptionMy boat Freedom is fully equipped for offshore cruising with exceptional safety equipment and modern and redundant navigation and communication gear. A sunfish, jetski, and RIB dinghy are all brand new for entertainment. We cruise at 8-10 knots comfortably with stabilizers. She is my retirement fun boat for the winters for myself, my wife, and my teenage girls when they get breaks from college.

Bahamas
Bruce gave me and amazing opportunity to work on his vessel in the Bahamas for a month, I could work online and when I wasn't helping him I used to go out and visit some places. He took care of me and paid my airplane tickets and food. I'm very grateful, Nathalya

Bruce is a highly skilled Captain and an excellent mentor. He and his wife were incredibly generous and a pleasure to work for. Freedom VI is a meticulously maintained mechanically, and wonderfully comfortable. I so enjoyed my season aboard in the Bahamas.
