Boat descriptionMonara is a 1960 trawler yacht, with two original Gardner engines. Although she's an old lady, she has all the amenities of a modern yacht, including stabilisation and all safety and communication equipment required for ocean traveling. Over the last year she has traveled from Belgium to East Africa, with the owner and his family. Now the owner wants to continue the adventure, while the children have to leave the vessel to start university. Over the next 12 months Monara will be exploring East Africa. To mention some of our preferences, we love the ocean, prefer anchoring over a marina, exploration, diving, surfing, good food, adventures, music, humor. We have a Starlink dish on the boat, to enable us to stay in touch with land.. allthough Elon has changed the rules which could limit the service. You can check our adventures on www.monara.be.
