Boat descriptionMonara is a 1960 trawler yacht, with two original Gardner engines. Although she's an old lady, she has all the amenities of a modern yacht, including stabilisation and all safety and communication equipment required for ocean traveling. Over the last year she has traveled from Belgium to Juneau, Alaska, with the owner and his family. Now the owner wants to continue the adventure, while the children have to leave the vessel to start university. Over the next 12 months Monara will be exploring British Columbia, Alaska and Japan. To mention some of our preferences, we love the ocean, prefer anchoring over a marina, exploration, diving, surfing, good food, adventures, music, humor. We have recently installed a Starlink dish on the boat, to enable us to stay in touch with land.. allthough Elon has limited his service to very close to shore.
