  • Sea Miles 2,500 - 10,000

My sailing story..
I have 30+ years pleasure boat experience, as skipper or crew on all sorts of sailing and motor vessels. I did my first night sail to the channel Islands as crew ages 15. Since then I've owned nine different types of sailing vessels from 26 to 45ft. Most of my sea miles has been achieved as owner skipper in tidal coastal waters in the South of England. As well as the Western Med, East/ West Florida and the Bahamas.

Up until recently I was actively working in the marine industry as a new boat commissioner. This roll included sea trails as skipper, short deliveries, handovers and aftersales. I'm also a Beneteau trained technician. Other things to note... I run the winter refit crew for Clipper Ventures in preparation for there last race...

I love the pleasures of owning a boat... and feel lucky that I have one!

Solent day trip

Had a fantastic day sail with Tom! Felt very safe on his boat in gale force winds. Tom is a very knowledgable and safety oriented captain who is very easy to get along with. Would highly recommend sailing with Tom to anyone.

Day sail solent

Thoroughly enjoyed a day sailing with Tom on his yacht Braveheart. A well kitted out Moody 44 that was easy to get to grips with and very pleasant to handle. Stong winds gave us a challenging sale but with Toms experience and guidance, very managable. it is great to get out and enjoy sailing in the company of others and Tom is a genuine frindly knowledgable sailor that you can learn from. Thanks Tom a great day sailing, hope to do it again.

Despite a few difficulties with weather and coved shut ports,it was great to sail with Tom, a very experienced sailor with a wealth of knowledge. Would happily crew again.
