Spent a great 9 days aboard La Fortuna
I joined Richard and Ivy in Lisbon to help with the sail down to The Canaries. Great experience and a lovely couple! Richard is a very easy going and good-natured guy. He is not the rule-setting kind of captain, instead he keeps a very mellow attitude that contributes to a generally pleasant vibe onboard. Where Richard is mellow Ivy is the firecracker, perfectly complementary. She is dynamic and full of energy, always with a positive attitude (even when she is seasick she manages to be pleasant!) La Fortuna is a small little boat but has everything you need to feel comfortable. I can definitely recommend La Fortuna, Richard, and Ivy. Great memories!
