Sailing Expedition 2026 – Caribbean to the Arctic
Join SY Seafinn, a 56ft Formosa ketch, for a hands-on sailing experience through the Caribbean, North Atlantic, and Arctic. We're a team-oriented boat run by a full-time sailing couple with over 15 years of ocean experience. This is not a charter – it's a collaborative, shared-cost adventure where you become part of the crew. All experience levels welcome.

Cienfuegos – Nassau, Bahamas
Cuba’s southern coast, a short ocean crossing, and turquoise waters of the Bahamas.
Optional 2-week segment: Flexible depending on interest
Leg 5: May 16 – Jun 13 (3 spots left)
Nassau – Halifax, Canada
Ocean sailing leg ideal for mile-building. Expect 14–17 days at sea with minimal stops.
Leg 6: Jun 20 – Jul 25 (1 spot left)
Halifax – Newfoundland – Labrador – Greenland (Narsarsuaq)
Sail north through wild coastal regions, past icebergs and fjords, with an ocean crossing to Greenland.
Leg 7: Jul 25 – Aug 22 (1 spot left)
Greenland – Iceland
No 2-week option available.
A high-latitude wilderness voyage through Prins Christian Sund, east Greenland’s fjords, and a final crossing to Iceland.
Shared Cost Model
Everyone contributes to onboard life and expenses.
Daily contribution includes all meals, fuel, port fees, marine parks, immigration, and use of gear (kayaks, paddleboards, snorkel gear, fishing equipment, etc.).
Accommodations in your own bunk within a shared (2-person, same-sex) cabin with ensuite bathroom.
Professional skipper & mate onboard. Starlink internet included.

Fantastic Voyage!
I had a fantastic time sailing for four weeks with Seafinn in the Caribbean. Fredrik and Rebekka are wonderful down-to-earth people, very competent sailors and Seafinn is set up well for comfort and safety. I really appreciated how all the crew pitched in to cook, keep watch and how willing Fredrik and Rebekka were to help the crew learn the boat systems. If you want to explore some new places, get some sailing experience or get a feel for the cruising lifestyle this is a great opportunity. Also, it was great to play and cuddle with their dog Coconut. She always put a smile on everyone's face wherever we went. I can't wait to sail with Seafinn again!
