Looking for a Novice Crew or Voluntary work position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew or Voluntary work.
I am half way through my medical studies and am currently on a gap year until end of August 2025.
I am highly motivated to learn new skills. Living on a sailboat has always been a dream of mine. I am happiest around water.
My main goal is to learn sailing skills, but would love to contribute to ocean cleaning or marine research opportunities too. I am a calm, open minded person and flexible to help with any task. I can cook, clean, help with social media content or whatever might be needed.
I speak english, french and german fluently, as well as some romanian and italian.
My energy is fueled by meaningful connections, new knowledge and skills.
As far as my sailing knowledge goes… I participated in sailing summer camps as a kid but haven’t been on a boat in many years. I want to change that!
I got my advanced open water PADI certification in march 2025.
