Looking for a Deckhand, Novice Crew, Mile building or Welder position
I currenlty work as an Ordinary Seaman on board an American Flagged ship. I have a Merchant Mariner Credential and all the required classes for commercial work. My sea time is only around 90 days, however i deployed twice aboard Navy ships in the Marines. Before becoming a seaman, I was an automotive mechanic with electrical and other certifications from ASE. I have performed everything from light maintenance to engine repair and replacements. I'm comfortable around many types of machiners, including most cranes, welding etc. I have many years of welding experience both as a full time job and as additional duties in other fields such as automotive. I know a little bit about wind sailing but not as much as i would like. I do know rules of the road and have taken RFPNW as a class. I want to gain experience on a sailboat and have experience and adventure when I'm not on a commercial ship. My work ethic is exceptional.
