My wife and I recently moved from the USA to the Philippines and hope to be purchasing our own cruising boat in 2026. in the meantime, I am looking for crewing/mile-building opportunities anywhere from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, etc...happy to travel for short or long-term experiences.
In addition to owning a San Juan 21 daysailer since 2021 on our small local lake back in the States, I have ~750 nm experience that was gained on a charter trip around St. Lucia, a delivery passage on the Great Lakes, and cruising around the San Juan Islands. I am an Army veteran and former long-distance backpacker, so I'm good at respecting the chain of command, getting along in stressful situations, and being comfortable with discomfort.
