Adventurous crew seeking passage to Caribbean from CAN-USA East coast – Fall 2025
Hi there!
My name is Hubert, I live in Québec, Canada, and I’m looking to join a sailboat as crew starting in September or October 2025 for a passage down to the Caribbean.
I’m motivated, adaptable, and very eager to learn everything I can about life at sea. I hold a CAN-Sail 1 certification, and I’ve sailed solo on a Laser as well as crewed for a week on a Hunter.
I’m also a seasoned canoeist and outdoor enthusiast, with six wilderness expeditions of 5 to 10 days under my belt, so I’m very comfortable with rustic conditions, teamwork, and living off the grid.
I’m in great physical shape, I love cooking (and I’m good at it!), I’m a quick learner, and I keep a positive attitude even when things get rough. I’m happy to contribute to any and all onboard tasks — night watch, sail handling, cooking, cleaning — whatever needs doing.
In everyday life, I’m a teacher. I’m fun-loving, outgoing, and respectful, and I’m looking forward to discovering the open ocean, learning offshore sailing, and living a great adventure.
I’m available to join a boat anywhere on the East Coast of Canada or the U.S. (I can travel easily), starting early September 2025.
