Looking for a Deckhand position

HI, I am seeking a deckhand position on a sailing vessel. I sailed competitively throughout college, I currently sail a 34-foot sailboat competitively, and I have worked as an instrument technician on several research vessels. My job has taken me to Bermuda, Antarctica, and all around the United States. I am comfortable living and working at sea, and I enjoy becoming familiar with the unique rhythms and regulations of each vessel. Moreover, I enjoy seeing the world, and look forward to my next opportunity.

I have a degree in ocean engineering and thus a high familiarity with ocean electronics. I can effectively troubleshoot electronic and mechanical systems on the water.

I have CPR/First aid training, as well as basic firefighting training and ocean search and rescue training.
