My qualifications include a Yacht Master 500 GRT license under STCW, Ship Security Officer,
GMDSS Radio Operator (ROC), 750kW Chief Engineer (Y3), MCA Small Powerboat and RIB
Master, and a Qualified Shipping Agent license in Turkey.
In addition to my maritime qualifications, I hold an Associate Degree in Tourism and Hotel
Management, where I gained a solid foundation in business administration, including management,
accounting, finance, customer relations, and operational planning. This education complements my
technical expertise and supports my approach to vessel operations, crew leadership, budgeting,
and owner relations.
Throughout my career, I have managed vessel operations, crew leadership, safety management,
flag administration, and class compliance, including Lloyd's Register, ABS and RINA surveys,
Cayman Islands Large Yacht Code compliance, and ABS Special Surveys under the Cayman
Islands and Marshall Islands flag administrations. I have logged over 60,000 nautical miles across
the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf.

Novice crew under the watch of Utku
I've been sailing from Greece to Spain with Utku as I joined Fatuhiva on a boat transfer towards towards Denmark. Without any experience I quickly learned the sailing fundamentals in the company of Utku, an experienced Turkish skipper who's been evolving on larger yatch over the past decade. He was particularly attentive to our experience and our safety onboard, always reflecting on the best course of action whenever unexpected events surged. He's a sailor with great respect for its crew members and the owner who comissioned him for the transfer and he has sound knowledge about navigation and sea regulations.
