Looking for a Novice Crew or Competent Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew or Competent Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I have grown up sailing with my family where we would mostly take part in friendly races around the River Orwell and the Solent in the UK. I have also done a lot of cruising along the east and south coasts of the UK and crossed the Channel several times, including some night sailing. I do not have my RYA level 4 but do not have any official yachting qualifications. I know my way around a boat but would not feel confident in charge of a boat so I am looking for a skilled skipper who needs an extra set of hands in the crew. I want to use this as an opportunity to improve my sailing skills and become more confident handelling a boat.
