Looking for a Competent Crew, Mile building, Deckhand or Stew/Deck position
Hi, my name is Mirre, 18 years old and I'm from the Netherlands, I would like to join your adventure in the position as a Competent crew member, as a Deckhand or Stew/Deck. I would love to build miles on sea and gain more experience in sailing on sea. Ever since I was a little girl I was always around boats, it runs in the family! When I was a baby my parents had a Contest 36 in which they sailed from the Netherlands to the Caribbean. When I was about 10 years old we bought a First 25 in which I have sailed lots. I also started in the Optimist and then in the Laser. About 3 years ago we got rid of the First and got an X-yacht 95. We have sailed her from the Netherlands to England and back, and last summer we went to the Channel Islands. So I have experience in sailing at sea and also nightshifts. Next to my sailing history I could also help out with cooking, cleaning and organising. I would love to help out on deck and inside! I'm looking forward to meeting some new people and seeing new places. The Atlantic Ocean has my preference, but I'm open to other things! I hope you will consider me for joining your crew!
